HeroClix Sharknado scenario

A tornado has landed in your city... and it's full of sharks! Can you survive the Sharknado?

PLAYERS / POINTS / ACTIONS
•2-4 Players (page 2 contains single player rules)
•Recommended: 500 points, 4 actions per turn.

SHARKNADO
Sharknado is considered a "player" that takes it's turn after all other players have taken their turn. Sharknado is represented by the gold-bordered 4x4 token below; before the game begins, print it out and place it in the middle of the map.

Continued below..
HeroClix Scenario Sharknado

1) MOVING SHARKNADO
At the beginning of Sharknado's turn, each player rolls 2d6 (reroll all ties). Whoever has the highest roll must move Sharknado 1d6-2 spaces (minimum of 1). Sharknado must be moved in a straight line -- it cannot "turn" and it ignores everything on the map for movement purposes. When moving sharknado, you must use the entire allocated movement. Example, if the player rolls a 6, then he/she must move Sharknado 4 spaces in a straight line. Sharknado must move all 4 squares and ignores characters, hindering objects, etc on movement; it only stops short if it hits the edge of a map.

Sharknado can end it's movement in any square, even those occupied by characters or blocking objects!

HeroClix Sharknado token object2) FLYING SHARKS
After Sharknado has been moved, roll 1 die for each character that is at least 2 squares away from Sharknado. On a result of 5-6, place a SHARK token adjacent to that character (printout available on the right).

Optional rule: On a result of 4, reroll.

After all sharks have been placed, every shark on the board immediately makes a single Blades/Claws/Fangs attack against each adjacent character (as free actions).

When it is not Sharknado's turn, sharks are treated as heavy objects.

SHARKNADO DAMAGE
At the beginning of each players turn, do the following:

•If your character is adjacent to Sharknado, roll 1 die for each of those characters. On a result of 5-6, that character is dealt 1 unavoidable damage. Additionally, on a result of 6, place an action token on that character (which does not deal push damage).

•If your character is inside Sharknado, follow the same as above, but roll 2 dice instead of 1 and discard the lower result.

PROBABILITY CONTROL CLARIFICATION
Sharknado is immune to Probability Control, but the Shark's Blades/Claws/Fangs attack is not immune.

WINNING
This is a standard "vs" game. Eliminate the opposing team(s) to win the game!

Note: If your character is KO'ed by Sharknado or a shark, victory points are subtracted from your total, but none are awarded to the opposing player(s).

We have a weekly group where each player takes turns picking rules for the week. I chose this not too long ago and it was a hit with everyone. Lot's of great ideas on this sight.

Planning to run this at an in-store event at my venue tomorrow, 01/20/15... top prize is a Pop Vynyl Sharknado figure!

We ran this as event today at my venue. It was a bloodbath of awesome. No one will ever look at Sharknado the same again. Thanks.

Running this scenario and using the funko pop sharknado as our 'sharknado'. Perfect size!

I don't often play scenarios in HeroClix, but when I do, I play Sharknado.

For those that like to do mods, look for a D&D Thunderblast Cyclone figure

and a pack of plastic toy sharks figures

I made a Sharknado team. It consisted of Captain Mako, King Shark, AA Black Mante, Red Tornados and Whirlwind. It was only retired figs allowed, so Tiger Shark could make it on there. Also for fillers, consider playing Atlantis Rising and Crosswinds BFC. Another thing to add for filler, Whirlwind Feats for Red Tornado

Ok I admit I have never really enjoyed playing scenarios in Clix. But this one really looks like fun.

So I am going to have to try this one out.

But now, and I know there are people out there right now thinking about it. Now I wanna see some ones 3-d scenario charcater figure for the actual Sharknado. And pick up some mini sharks at any toy store to toss out on he board.

I don't get to play as often as I would like, so another single player scenario is much appreciated. The movie was horrible, but I'm looking forward to have SHIELD or a police team try and rescue the stranded bystanders.

Interesting. One of the Dr. Who Christmas specials involves rain which includes sharks.

Given all the hype I hear about it on Howard Stern (as he is goofing on it), this seems like lots of fun. Now to get a victim, er, opponent...
