Why Are We Doing This?
A year ago I died in the hospital from massive ulcers and came back from the dead. And this past summer I survived quadruple bypass surgery, where they literally stop your heart and reboot it after the operation. I'm here today to celebrate life -- and when I celebrate, so do my readers.

When does it start?
It already has. We started Talkback Tuesday last month and it's been a huge success!

I work in a corporate café. It has five floors with several doors between each floor and four elevators. A lot of food in the freezer and walk-in. Plus sh!t load of snack. The building is built of 2000 employees. Shelter and food. Bathrooms. Showers. Beds. Life is good. I could send messages to the sports stadium survivors with the wifi towers and all the cooking utensils for protections.

the best place is a sports ground/statium:doors that can be locked, water surpply, medical room , vending machines and facilities to cook and room for lots of people but long term dig up the field and grow stuff, you get sports equipment to bash those zombie heads in

In the Appalachian mountains. There is water, food (to hunt and from everyone's long term stores), most buildings are heated by wood and have solid cellars, the mountains provide long fields of fire easy choke points and few locals to become infected.

At a shotgun shop. Once the Zombies turn up, I imagine things like "price" and "mandatory cooldown" cease mattering REALLY quickly.

A Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop. Food, weapons, survival gear; what more could you need? Even multi-levels should you need to barricade things off. Otherwise a Costco or Sam's club would be a pretty good choice for many of the same reasons. I watch The Walking Dead and the prison was a pretty good choice for them for a while, anyways. Good topic. Didn't realize you had those health issues and glad they turned out for the best.

Glad to know that you're a Highlander. I too am one, I had open heart surgery when I was a kid. If you're ever in Pueblo,CO on a Thursday night, Come by Chaos Games and More and come Clix with my group.
There's this place outside Kansas City that is built into a mountainside and it houses several office spaces and a UPS/FedEx shipping hub, it also has a paintball field in it. Its like a ten minute drive outside the city, but each complex has an easily barricaded entrance and I think there is even an Urgent Care Clinic in it

So you want to stay alive in a zombie apocalypse. my best bet would be a Costco, they have food, and power, and it's a giant warehouse. you'll be fine as long as there's little to no zombies
